smktm choir 2009( was totally awesome)^^

today, 22nd april 2009, wednesday, we had our choir competition in smk sungai buluh. we all had 2 b in school by 6am! i woke up at 5.10am. i couldnt sleep as der were butterflies in my stomach, i kept waking up and lookin at da time. i reached school and oni a few people were der. wen more people came, we got out of da car and entered the school. we got onto our bus, and found our seat. i sat wif my dear fren, joelle aka orang gila! LOL=p we sang and did some warming up. it was reli fun. we reached our destination at about 8.30- 9.00.
den we met our school's main oponent...''dum dum dam'' smk KEPONG! da banana people. ahahaha. no offense to dem. well, wen u dress from top 2 bottom yellow, tis happens. sori. haha. we were all so nervous. we did and tried our best. my coach aka ZEE was there. we practise with em and tried to give our 150%. but den, bad news strike! da rules state dat Zee couldnt b our pianist. we were all so worried. we got on2 stage and we saw Zee on da piano. we tote he was allowed. we were all so relief...but so we tote...we sang our hearts out. we were so proud of each other and ourselves. we got down and wen bak to our seats. den da bana.. i mean kepong team went on stage, we stared at them. once dey sang deir 1st note... our jaws were all wide open! dey were AMAZING! we were like so shocked. our self esteem was goin down.
we went out for rehat, to eat and relax from all da tention tat was going on. in da canteen, i met tis guy, and he looked like my fren phili tan!!! but taller and skinny! he was fair and cute like phil! it was amazing! his name was david, he is form 3, and he was from korea. he is soooo cute. when dey were announcing the results, he supported our school da whole way through!
they announce da primary school results 1st. da tention was killing us. we crossed our fingers, and prayed to do well.
den , it was da 2ndary's turn. my heart was beating wif fear. dey announce da 3rd place winner. den da 2nd. and finali, tempat yang pertama jatuh kepada skola......smk....kepPPPoooOOnnggg!! we all were so sad and disapointed. suddenly, dey announce tat the judges had made a special catergory 4 a skul, we luked up, and dey announce tat smk taman melawati won BEST PERFORMANCE FOR DA DAY! we clapped wif joy. dey best conductor was won by..... jo-l said tat kepong wil surely win, i scolded her n said ' have sum faith in ur own team" right after i said tat, smk TAmAn MElAwatI WOn!!!!! we were screamin and clapin for out conductor, lam yee ling. who was awesome!!!
wen everythg was over, da judges told us we were disqualified, cuz my pianist wasnt a student of my skul. if not, we would have gotten 1st place. once Zee heard tat, he was so disapointed and kept on apologizing. we thanked him and told him it wasnt his fault. and its true! we would have been bad if it wasnt 4 him! god bless him 4 bein here 4 us all.
we took a group photo. i broke into tears, deepan, kai chun, annd Zee joined me. we were all so sad. Zee said thanks for tahan-in him and doing so well. and apologize if he hurt us. we started to cry. we hugged him and said gudbye and gudluck, as he was going to london next year.
i cant belief after tis few months practising and practising.we finali finished our job. we did our best and had fun with it. i duno about da others, but i m reli hapi with my results. it seems it was just yesterday i started koir. all da memories and experience i gain wil never be forgotten. im gonna miss every single moment of koir tat i went through with all tis wonderful people. always and foreva will! GO CHOIR!!!! smktm rocks!
